1. Products and ordering
Product descriptions, contents, availability and the total price offered for your order are shown on the product page and at checkout. Watercolour artwork and printed products can have small natural variations. Images and screen colours are illustrative and may look slightly different from the physical product.
You can review and correct the order information before submitting it. An automated receipt confirms that we received the order; the purchase agreement is concluded when we accept the order or dispatch it, unless the checkout states otherwise. If we cannot accept an order, we will notify you and reverse or release any amount already collected or reserved as appropriate.
2. Prices and payment
The currency, product price, applicable taxes, delivery charge and final total are shown before you place the order. The payment methods currently available, any relevant conditions and when payment is captured are shown at checkout. We do not add a payment fee unless it is clearly disclosed before the order is placed and permitted by law.
3. Delivery
Available destinations, delivery methods, estimated timing and price are shown at checkout and, where applicable, in the order confirmation. Delivery estimates are not guarantees unless expressly agreed. Please provide accurate contact and address details and contact us promptly if the confirmation contains an error.
Risk normally passes to a consumer when the consumer, or a person designated by the consumer other than the carrier, receives the goods. If a parcel is delayed, lost or arrives damaged, contact us at hello@whimsydoodlings.com with the order number and relevant details so we can investigate.
4. Your right of withdrawal
If you are a consumer in Denmark or another country where a statutory cooling-off right applies, you will generally have 14 days from the day you receive the goods to tell us clearly that you withdraw from the purchase. If one order is delivered in several parts, the period normally starts when the final part is received. Exceptions required by law may apply—for example to certain personalised, sealed or otherwise exempt goods—and will be explained before purchase where relevant.
You may email your decision to hello@whimsydoodlings.com or use our continuously accessible online withdrawal function. The online function sends an immediate email acknowledgement containing the submitted notice and its date and time. A printable model form is available on the same page. It is enough to send the notice before the withdrawal period expires. Include your name, order number, the product and the date received so we can identify the order.
5. Returning goods after withdrawal
After notifying us, return the goods without undue delay and no later than 14 days after your notice. Unless we agree otherwise or the law requires us to cover it, you pay the direct cost of the return. Use suitable packaging and retain proof of dispatch. Contact us for the practical return details that apply to the order. Waiting for our reply is not a condition for exercising the right of withdrawal and does not extend your 14-day return deadline.
You may inspect the goods as you would in a physical shop. You may be responsible for diminished value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
6. Refunds following withdrawal
We refund payments covered by the withdrawal, including the cost of the least expensive standard delivery offered for the order, without undue delay and no later than 14 days after we receive your withdrawal notice. We may withhold the refund until we receive the goods or you provide evidence that they were sent back, whichever occurs first, unless we offered to collect them. The refund is normally made using the original payment method unless another method is expressly agreed, and without an additional refund fee from us.
7. Faulty, damaged or incorrect goods
Your statutory rights apply if goods are faulty, damaged, not as described or incorrect. Danish consumers generally have a two-year statutory right to complain about a lack of conformity, subject to the conditions in applicable law. Notify us within a reasonable time after discovering the issue. Please provide the order number, a description and, when useful, photographs. Depending on the circumstances and the law, an appropriate remedy may be repair, replacement, price reduction, refund or cancellation.
Do not return a faulty or incorrect item before contacting us. Where we are responsible for the issue, we will provide appropriate return instructions and cover reasonable return costs as required by law.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights. To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for indirect loss that was not reasonably foreseeable when the agreement was made or for delay caused by events outside our reasonable control. The product is a creative activity product and should be used appropriately and with suitable adult supervision where relevant.
9. Complaints and disputes
Please contact us first at hello@whimsydoodlings.com so we can try to resolve the issue. If we cannot agree, the relevant Danish public route for ordinary consumer goods is generally Mæglingsteamet for Forbrugerklager at Nævnenes Hus, Toldboden 2, 8800 Viborg, Denmark. The complaint is submitted through the Nævnenes Hus complaint portal, subject to the body’s current scope, price thresholds and other eligibility rules.
As at the revision date above, the general price threshold for most goods and services is DKK 1,220, so a purchase below that amount may not qualify for this complaint route. Official guidance on the complaint system and other available routes is published at forbrug.dk. Disputes that cannot be handled by a complaint body may instead be brought before the competent courts, including the simplified court procedure where its conditions are met.
These terms are governed by Danish law, without depriving consumers of mandatory protections that apply in their country of residence. Any dispute will be handled by the competent court or complaint body under applicable procedural rules.
